This video is courtesy of my sister Mandie. I have no choice but to share it with all of you, because I love my daughter and I think she is a HOOT! And yes, she is the one without a shirt on. If I remember correctly, her shirt got wet and she just HAD to take it off, or she just isn't wearing a shirt because she doesn't want to!! ha ha. I don't care, we are in the house! ha ha.

Utah

Things have been going well since we got home from Utah. I am so glad that Wayne was able to take a little Va-K. He really needed it! We had a lot of fun seeing friends, and spending time with family. Just wish everyone was closer! Since we have been home, everything is about ALLERGIES! Wayne has always had really bad allergies, and I never had them growing up. Ever since Shea was born I have had them, and they have been out of control! To make things worse, Shea has them too! We are just a nose blowing, watering eye, sneezing family! We are having an event at my work, so I have been doing yard work all day! I'm a mess! ha ha. From what I hear, Wayne and Shea are too. They had a big day today filling in all the holes in our driveway with gravel. Well, that is pretty much all that has gone on this week for us. Does anyone have any advice to get ride of Allergies? Medication? We have used Claritin, Benedryl, and the cheap Western Family Brand and nothing is working.

Boating in Utah

On Saturday we went boating in East Canyon. For Father's Day, my dad got a 3 person tube so we decided to test the sucker out. Wayne, Chad, and Brooke were the first to take the challenge! They had a blast!


Shea wasn't to excited about it. She fell asleep right in the middle of all the action. But I will say that she loved her life jacket. She would not take it off all day.

My mom even tried out the new tube. But she made my dad promise not to flip her! ha ha. So Brooke and Chad decided to make the ride more interesting!

It was really fun to have a day in the sun. Wayne and Shea really enjoyed themselves even though it was the hottest day in Utah!

Dam Marathon

My two sisters came up to Rexburg this past weekend to run in the Teton Dam Marathon. My older sister Mandie flew in from Missouri to run the race, and my little sister Brooke drove up from Utah. They did really well considering Mandie being pregnant and Brooke's car breaking down the day before! I can't tell you exactly how long it took them, but it was around 3 hours!? Saturday after the race we went to Idaho Falls to go shopping. Later that night we went to the Spud Drive-In and watched Speed Racer. It was surprisingly a really good movie. On Father's Day, Wayne worked and Mandie flew back to Missouri. Brooke decided to stay another night so that she could take Shea back home with her. It being Father's Day we didn't want Shea to leave. Wayne was able to temporarily fix Brooke's car (Well, she has to hit it with a hammer to turn it on! ha ha). Anyway, Brooke and Shea made it home safely and she is having a blast with Grandma. I know because I call every 3 hours! I miss her! ha ha.


She didn't care about the race much. She just wanted to swing!

Father's

Happy Father's Day to all the father's in the world! I couldn't have asked for a better father for my children than my husband Wayne! We love him so much. He is such a wonderful father. Shea definitely knows that she has the best one out there. He is always a father first, but he is also a friend! She loves helping her dad fix things around the house, tease ME, and she loves doing yard work with him! We love you DADDY, and thanks for being such a great father!

Winter in JUNE!

Where is summer? I am asking myself this question a lot this summer. It is almost the middle of JUNE, and it's snowing right now! Wayne is the maintenance guy at our apartment complex and he has honestly mowed the lawn twice this summer. ONLY TWICE, which means we have had 2 nice days. AWWWWWW! This was the scene when I woke up this morning.



I even had to break out the snow scrapper. (Not that I ever put it away! ha ha.) Anyway, this weekend is suppose to be nice. I hope it is because my sisters are coming up to run the Teton Dam Marathon. And I really don't want to stand in the snow/rain all day!

Idaho Falls Zoo

Saturday, Wayne and I decided to do a little shopping down in Idaho Falls. With Wayne's Employee of the Month winnings, he wanted to get something special. (Work boots! MEN!) When it comes to shoes he is extremely picky. Which really surprised me when he found some at the first store we went to. So we had the rest of the day, with nothing to do. We decided to go to the Zoo! It was a nice day. We had a blast. The Idaho Falls Zoo is a great place for kids and adults. The paths are shaded and it's not big at all, with a lot to see and do. We were able to see the lions trying to eat some ducks that had flew into their pond. That was exciting. The ducks won! Shea's favorite were the monkey's. Kind of funny because Wayne hates them. (They were everywhere in India, and mean!) It was really cute because she told one of them that he was Funny Lookin! I love her!

Wayne enjoyed himself too. Remember, he is a kid at heart.

And before we left, she just had to give the lion a kiss. It's amazing how sweet and caring little children are. It is scary to think about how horrible the world is and I hope she will always stay this way. I know it is wishful thinking, but little children really brighten a day. I love them!
