Tahoe Update!

It's fixed! Not that anyone really cares, but I am really excited to have this car problem issue resolved. They found a couple wires loose that connected the computer to ??? (something). They had Wayne test drive it for a couple days before making us pay, just to be sure. Well, it works!! Yeah! One less thing for me to stress about, and it only cost $250. Not bad considering I was budgeting for $400. Sweet! I just drove home from Utah this morning where it was nice and warm. I am at work right now looking out the window at a snow blizzard. That's right, it's snowing. Not so much a shock, but it is coming from 80 degree weather. Where is summer?

Fun in the Sun!

Monday, we spent all day over at my friend Shalyse's house. We had a blast. Shea and her little girl, Ryann, played all day. We were both shocked at how well they played with each other with NO NAP! They took turns pulling each other in the wagon.

Watched each other eating soggy Doritos chips! Yum Yum!

And took turns pushing each other in the swing.

We loved spending time with them. Little Westin is such a good little baby, and Ryann is such a good sister. From the looks of it, Shea and Ryann are going to be great friends. Thanks to Shalyse for letting us destroy there yard. We had a blast. (P.S. It was nearly 80 degrees, and my legs got fried! Ouch!)

An Hour with Friends!

It was perfect timing coming down to Utah! One of my good friends was in town from Washington. Luckily, we were able to meet at Shalyse's house before she left back home. It was really good seeing her, even though it was for only a half an hour. She has the cutest little boy in the whole world. He was sleeping while I was there, but I was able to sneak a peek while he was sleeping. Next time, Angela, we will have to hang out longer! Maybe, we will have to plan a trip up your way. Anyway, thanks John for taking this picture and Mike for the nummy hamburger!

Here is a picture of Shea and Ryann playing. They were not so sure with each other at first, and when they started to play with each other it was time to leave. Tomorrow will be a different story. Shalyse and I are planing on getting some sun, and letting the kids run wild!!

Why is it always ME!

I don't know why it is, but I always seems to get the strange, creepy phone calls. No matter where I work, they find me! ha ha. I have had someone ask me if there were stripper poles in the rooms! (Not so much creepy, but extremely weird!) This isn't VEGAS! I worked at JC Penny Catalog, and I had Julie LONGDONG Silver call. (That was creepy!) I had another MAN call wanting to know about women's shoes, for himself! And then last night, I had another experience that really creeped me out. Just picture this! It is 10pm in the middle of no where and I am just about to close the office. I get a phone call from, what sounded like, and Indian salesman. He asked to speak with the owner of the lodge. I told him that they weren't in and asked if I could take a message. (FYI: salesman call all the time, and want you to take surveys, really annoying!) He asked me if I was sure. Yeah, I'm sure it's 10 pm! He then wanted to speak with Linda who worked there. I told him there isn't a Linda that works here. He then asked me again, are you sure! (of course I'm sure!) Then he asked if I was the Night Shift. I said, NO. Are you sure, he asked! Then he asked my name. I told him and he said it was a very beautiful name. Then he said you sound really beautiful, but it was with a very creepy voice. I then asked him if there was anything I could help him with. He said that he would come in tomorrow and see me! I said Okay, Bye! He then asked me again, I will see you tomorrow, and that's when I hung the phone up! What the F!!!! I was so scared to walk to my car! I am so sick of creepy people! Who does that! Anyway, I have gotten pretty tough with handling situations like these. So know that it's light, BRING IT ON! ha ha. This all happened after I had to calm a drunk and angry guest down. He was yelling, screaming and swearing at me because he couldn't get his DVD player to work, and that there wasn't any good shows on the TV. I have found that people make huge fools of themselves will they are drunk, so just don't do it! Anyway, I hope none of you EVER get creepy phone calls!

Update

The mechanics still can NOT figure out what is wrong with our Tahoe! I don't understand, want to understand or ever understand cars but HOW HARD CAN IT BE! This is your job PEOPLE! Sorry, I am a little frustrated. ha ha. The update from about an hour again is that they are still trying to figure it out, but haven't given up. They did keep the $300 computer chip in the Tahoe that we do not have to pay for. That was really nice to hear. We just get to spend it on other part when they figure it out! ha ha. Anyway, we are pretty lucky that a couple of Waynes co-workers live on this side of the pass so that he can car pool. I guess I just need to relax and take things as they come with patience. Sounds easy, but for me it's not! Well, I will leave off with some exciting news, at least for me. I get to go down to Utah this weekend. You heard me SHALYSE, I will be stopping by to see little Westin and Ry Ry! I'm excited, and Shea is really excited to see Grandpa and Grandma and of course TEBY!

Car troubles!

Again, we have something wrong with the Tahoe. It seems like yesterday we replaced the whole exhaust system in the thing. It's been a while since we took it into the mechanics, and it is still not working. They can't figure out the problem. They first said that it was something to do with the throttle. So they fixed that. It still was doing it. Then, they said that it must have been defective so they changed it again. $130. Still didn't work. So they drove it all the way to Idaho Falls to get a Diagnostics do to it. The test come back that the computer chip was bad. So they ordered the part and put it in. ($300). Still doing it. The mechanics are so frustrated and are determined to figure out the problem. Good luck! Wayne seems to really like the guys, and I am worried about the bill. We are just about ready to go and buy a new car! I swear, Wayne has picked up the Tahoe 3 times, and every time he has just had to take it back. What a head ache!

10 years ago: There is so much I can say. I was 14 years old, and was extremely in mature! That's why it was so much fun. 4. Build a house for Wayne and I on a lot of acreage.

What a KID!

This morning, Shea decided to play around for a while instead of getting me up like she usually does! I awoke with a strange sound. I at first thought it was our neighbors above us. But then realized it was too close to be our neighbors. I got out of bed and was extremely shocked to find my daughter covered with make-up! I was frustrated, but couldn't pass up the moment to catch it on film! She is so sneaky! If you notice at the very end of the film, she says Bye Jami (instead of mommy!) FYI for you all, this is the first time she is seeing herself with all that make-up.

One morning, I was sitting on the couch watching some good ole SpongeBob. When Shea come up to me with her shoes and coat on. I asked her where she was going. "Wal-mart" she says! Then she proceeds to get her purse, comes right up to me and says "I need money!" It was so funny!

She has been watching Dora lately (I hate that show). She has learned to say "Oh, man". She says FRICK a lot, which she got from me. (I am not proud of that!)

When she is bossing you around, at the end of each scentence she'll say "OKAY!" Like that is suppose to make her sound nice or something.

Everyday she says something funny. I love her so much!

It's been a while!

It has been a while since I posted on my blog. It has been really busy the past couple weeks for me. My business trip to Pocatello went alright. I wasn't feeling good the entire time down there, but I stuck with it! ha ha. The weather in the Valley is still freezing. Last week we actually got snowed in twice! All the roads in and out of the Valley were closed! Where the HECK is SPRING!!! I am so over the snow. It just won't go away! ha ha. Now it is just work, work, work for Wayne and I. Until the snow melts!
