Wayne always tells stories about when he was younger. (In the olden days!) Because of this, Shea has started to make up her own stories by saying "When I was young and crazy...." It is pretty darn cute. FYI: I forgot my camera at home so no Father's Day pictures. Will post them next week hopefully.

Picture Overload!

This weekend we heard over the radio that there was a carnival in Idaho Falls. It was all a spur of the moment thing, like always, and Friday we decided to go down and have some needed fun! I can't remember ever going to a carnival when I was younger and I thought Shea would have a blast. Wayne had been to plenty and he was hoping it wasn't a freak show with all the carni workers! That wish didn't come true! I swear I saw the BEARDED LADY! But we had a lot of fun anyway. It was real small so Shea was able to go on every ride she could, and play the games that didn't freak her out. (People wise.)

Oh, did I mention that Wayne had just as much fun riding on all the kid rides! But Shea was able to go on one of the BIG KID rides with dad, and she loved it.

Her favorite ride was the Ferris Wheel. She went on that a couple times.

We also decided to spend the night. (Blow to the budget, but desperately needed!) We stayed at a hotel right by the river in Idaho Falls. The river had geese and ducks everywhere so we decided to feed them. Shea has these odd moments where she will not go anywhere unless she has her sunglasses and neckless on. Crazy Girl. This was one of those moments.

I am glad that we spent a little time away. It was a lot of fun, and I think Shea will remember it. (Oh, yeah. We also went swimming at the hotel. Shea says that was her favorite part.) I also had a doctors appointment Friday morning. Everything is great, feeling good and having no problems so far. Except I am a lot bigger than I should be (baby wise, not fat wise. Which is probably true to) so they are going to see if I grow more by my next appointment. If I do, they will do another ultrasound to make sure the baby isn't getting too big too fast. They think she had a growth spurt though. I am hoping for another ultrasound, just so they can double check the sex! ha ha. I think it is a girl, but the doctor didn't sound too confident in herself! ha ha.

It's been a while since I have found time to post anything. So here goes a quickie! In May, my sister Brooke, came up for a little peace and quiet. Yeah, RIGHT! While she was here we went up to Mesa Falls and did a little hiking.

And Teby got to come along!

When Aunt Brooke left back to Utah she also took my little Shea Shea with her. Shea got to spend about a week at Grandma and Grandpa Zollinger's house. She loved it. When Wayne and I went down to get her, she did not want to leave. Wayne and I aren't exactly sure how she heard of Chuck E. Cheese, but when we drove by one she really wanted to go.

Aunt Brooke and Grandpa Zollinger were also able to go with us.

We had a lot of fun down in Utah. Too bad it was only for a day. We don't get to many vacations because of work. But we have already set a time in July to go camping. Hopefully everything works out and we are able to go. Those were the two most eventful things that has happened in our life! ha ha. She is growing like a weed, and has an attitude to go along with it. If all goes well, I am going to post a video of her while she is "suppose" to be sleeping. She loves to sing. The other night I woke up to my child in our bed singing "The Climb" by Miley Cyrus. I thought she was talking in her sleep. The next morning I asked her about it and she said, "Sometimes I sing to go to sleep. Sorry, I woke you up mom." She is such a smarty pants. Wayne has also got her singing Simon and Garfunkel. She goes around singing, "I'd rather be a hammer than a nail. Yes, I would. If I could." She is still really excited to be a big sister, and she still tells EVERYONE. Every morning she wakes up and talks to the baby, even if I am still sleeping. The baby is doing great! She is always moving and kicking me around! Much more active than Shea was. I hope this proves that we are still alive! Not to exciting, but that is our life! ha ha. Oh, yeah! We got new cell phones. (Only because we had to, and they were free. ha ha.)

We're thinking....

Yesterday was an exciting day for our little family. I had a doctors appointment and we were able to find out the sex of the baby. The baby wasn't really cooperating and the doctor had to work at it for quite a while. The babies legs were clinched shut!! ha ha. After about 15 minutes of strictly trying to find the sex the doctor said "Oh, that KINDA looks like. MMMM. I'm going to guess a girl, but buy a yellow outfit just in case!" It was pretty funny, and we love our doctor. So it looks like we are thinking pink plus a yellow tint! We are excited. I'm not worried at all about having another girl. I'm actually really relieved because I know how to handle them. ha ha. Well, at least what to expect. The rest of this week has been pretty hectic for us. We have been working extra hard getting one of the other apartments put back together. Wayne is the maintenance man and the previous tenants totally destroyed the place. I mean, if you are renting wouldn't you tell someone if mold starting appearing??? I sure would! We had to take it down to the studs. Then a couple days ago our landlords called and said that they rented it out and they want to move in on Sunday. So it has been none stop for us over there. But Wayne just called and he has finished!! Paint is on and drying! I am glad that is over with. Now we can just relax!

Easter Sunday

We had a great Easter. Here are some pictures of Shea all dressed up for church.

We had to take Wayne to work early in the morning. She has been in a coloring mode for a while and the Easter bunny brought her some crayons! That was the first thing she wanted to do.

Not quite sure what is going on because it was so EARLY! ha ha.

Finally!

It's been a while since I was last able to post. Work has been slow but busy. Slow in the sense that we are still experiencing winter in full force, which means the owners are getting snowed out of their house. When that happens they come and stay at the lodge, which means they work the entire shift since they are here. Makes sense. When I do get to work, I have tons to do since I am never here. Ha. But I am hoping and thinking that we have had our last big storm. I am so over winter! The Hotel where Wayne works just shut down for 3 weeks for the off season. Luckily, Wayne has seniority and gets to work full time through it. We are really lucky that way. Only 3 engineers get to work full time and the others only work 1 or 2 times or have to take the entire 3 weeks off. Not fun! If anyone wants to know or cares, I am feeling great. I am almost 16 weeks along. We find out the sex on May 4th. And that is about it! ha ha. Shea still can't wait to be a big sister. She tells everyone! She also is telling everyone that mommy has a baby in her tummy and that she has a puppy in her tummy! Crazy girl! Waynes family came down from California for a week. It was really fun to see them. We didn't do much considering they are from California and it is still winter here in Idaho! Ha Ha. They were able to go outside and build a snowman and have a snowball fight with Grandpa for about 30 minutes! The rest of the time we mainly stayed inside! Poor Kids! Imagine, 6 adults and 4 kids STUCK in a 2 bedroom apartment ALL DAY! It probably wasn't the best vacation for them, but we were very happy that they were able to come down! We love you guys, and hope to see you soon! (This time we will come down there!) Well, this is the reason I haven't tried to post anything! My life isn't to exciting! ha ha.
