Halloween

Back in the day, when I was in Elementary school, my mom use to dress up as a witch and make a witch's brew for my class. I always loved that about my mom, so I decided to do that for my kids. I talked to Shea's teacher and she thought that would be a great surprise for the kids. Was it a surprise? NO! The kids weren't even scared, and they knew it was me! I was so mad. I totally wanted to scare them. Oh, well. It was fun anyway.

Shea wanted to be a scary witch this year. She loved the wig!

Rylee was a stinky skunk! This little skunk thought she was a bear all night. She was growling at everyone!

This year our town decided not to have Trunk or Treat, so we headed to Jackson to go to all the stores. It is really nice when you have small children. You don't have to walk a ton and you get a lot of candy. Rylee filled her bag!

I will also say that Rylee is potty trained. I wish I could take credit for it, but she actually taught herself! All I did was buy her panties. She was done in 3 days! Also, to this day, she has never wet the bed!! I can't believe it.

So if anyone needs size 4 diapers, I have a whole box of them!

After we went to Jackson, Shea also wanted to go to a neighborhood. So we went back to Victor to do some more trick r treating. As the sun was setting, we noticed that the headless horseman was out and about roaming the streets! It was so cool! You cant see it, but he is actually holding his pumpkin head in his hand! I'm told that he has been coming out for the past 3 years. So cool!

The girls got a ton of candy. I am such a mean mom, and will only let them have 5 pieces a day. So we still have A TON!

My baby is 2!

I can't believe that my little Rylee is already 2. I can't even begin to tell you how fast the past 2 years have flown by. Rylee is such a little cutie pie and I think she knows it! She has grown up so much the past couple months. She talks up a storm and you can actually understand what she is saying. She all of a sudden started using sentences (including potty words which she has learned from Shea. GRRRR.) She is super smart and learns really quickly just like her big sister. She loves singing and loves cats and babies. We sure love this little girl!!

She was telling everyone that she was 2 the entire day, and told them that she wanted a potty! That's right. Rylee is already interested in the potty. She still is a little young to start, but if she wanted a potty she was going to get one!

She loves the cartoon Wow Wow Wubbzy, so I decided to make a Wubbzy cake. It turned out really cute and I thought Rylee would love it.

I was right, Rylee did love it!!

She loved it so much, she thought it was real!! When Wayne went to cute the cake, Rylee looked at him with the most confused look on her face! She thought dad was cutting the REAL Wubbzy! She would not eat the cake for the life of her!! We tried giving her a spoon full and she said, "NO! THAT WUBBZY!" It was the funnest thing ever! I really wish my camera screen was working so that I could have switched it to video!

The rest of the day she played with her balloons. Rylee walked around the house with one of her balloons just singing away, "I've got a balloon, I've got a balloon." Cutest song ever.

First Day of School

Today was Shea's first day of Kindergarten! I can't believe she is old enough to go to school. She has been counting down the days the past couple weeks. It was super easy getting her up this morning!! She loves her class and loves her teacher! I was actually surprised that I did alright too! NO tears!

Not even when we put her on the bus, all by herself! I thought I would at least drive her to school the first week so that she knew where to go and wouldn't be worried. Nope, she just had to ride the bus the first day.

I think this was the most exciting thing for her! She was getting so worried that the bus was late.

Swimming Lessons and Lemonade Stand

Shea wanted to do a lemonade stand to earn money for Disneyland. We had to go down to my moms house to do this, because we live in the farm country. Not a good place to have a lemonade stand. She was out there for about 3 hours and made about $30. Shea does not like the heat and that was all she could last!

This last week was also swimming lessons. They do swimming camps, where you have 2 - 1 hour swim lessons a day, for a week. She just finished yesterday, and passed LEVEL 1!

Swimming and San Francisco

I can't believe school is almost here. This summer went way to fast for us, so I decided to take the girls to the Splash Park for the first time this year. Way sad, cause it was at the end of July. We have been way to busy this summer. The girls absolutely enjoyed it! I have some cute kids!

My little sister Brooke is moving to France for a year to nanny for a family. We are so sad that she is leaving, but excited for her. She is going to love it there. She had to appear in person at the French Embassy in San Francisco to get her Visa, so we decided to tag along. It was a really quick but fun road trip. Brooke forgot her camera on the day we were going to San Francisco so we didn't get any pictures. I finally decided to pull out my broken camera and take a couple going over the Golden Gate Bridge. My sister in law lives in the Sacramento area, so she let us crash at her place. I am so lucky to have an awesome sister in law!! Thanks Cyndi! We also went to the Jelly Belly Factory in Fairfield! Yum!

T-ball

I finally remembered to take my camera for Shea's last T-ball game. They may have a couple make up games, but I took a lot of pictures just in case. Rylee is in love with babies. She will not go to sleep without some type of baby.

My little sister Brooke came up to see her game. Shea loves Brooke so much, she wanted to introduce her to the team. And Yes, Shea has a crush on a boy on her team. He told his mom that Shea was his girlfriend and her eyes lit up! Funniest thing ever!!!

Bear Lake

Last weekend we were able to visit my family in Bear Lake. It was a nice little get together. We got to the cabin Sunday afternoon and sat around. My mom and I played card games, which was so much fun. Monday morning we went to the beach for the day! Around 3pm it started getting really cloudy and windy, so we decided to pack up and go. It was the perfect amount of time in the sun. Here's my two little girls just before we left.

Shea wrote her name in the sand. She that it was the coolest thing ever.

The girls really had a good time playing in the sand. Uncle Jonathan helped them build a sandcastle and all the kids played with it for hours. It was super nice!
