Anniversary

We have been married for 3 years! It has gone by so fast. We had a wonderful anniversary, and as ususal it snowed. With out fail, every year on our anniversary it snows a big storm. We probably got a good foot. Anyway, Wayne sent me some flowers that were the same colors from our wedding. He is so thoughtful. He even had a cheesey note to go with it. Ha Ha. That night Wayne took me to dinner at the Four Season in Jackson Hole. (Which is where he works.) When we got there a couple people came up and wished us a happy anniversary. Then they brought a card over to us from the Front Desk. (Which is where I use to work.) Then they brought us some soup compliements of the Executive Chef. It was so good. The Pastry Chef also sent us out a couple of items. We got a nice sherbet and a plate full of chocolate dipped strawberries. She even wrote on the plate "Happy Anniversary" with white chocolate. It was such a wonderful meal. They sat us right by the fireplace and the big windows. So we were able to watch the snow falling while eating. It was such a nice experience. They sure did give us the Four Seasons treatment that they are known for.

Christmas is Coming!

I hope everyone had a wonderfull Thanksgiving. I sure did! My mom and dad, sister Brooke, brother Chad, and my dog Teby all come up from Utah! Shea loved having everyone at our house. I was just glad that the turkey turned out okay! Thanks MOM! The day after Thanksgiving we all climbed into my dads truck and we went Christmas Tree hunting! It was cold and exciting. Everyone had a blast even the Dog! Last Christmas Shea was almost 1 and she was into everything. This Christmas it is worse, so Wayne and I decided to tie bows on the tree and hang Ginger Bread Men. This way we won't have to worry about things breaking. I think it turned out alright.

A New Bed

Well, Shea has reached a milestone in her life. She is officially sleeping in a big girl bed. The past week she has been climbing out of her crib and playing around in her room. I watched her get out and let me tell you, it was pretty impressive. My daughter is fearless, so I thought I better do something fast. So we made her bed into a day bed. The 1st night she cried and cried and then feel asleep in the middle of her room. The 2nd night she feel asleep right in front of the door, but with less crying. Then the 4th night, Wayne laid in her bed and she did not like that one bit. So for the past 2 nights she has been falling asleep in her bed. It is the cutest thing ever. It wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be. I was surprised.

My Sisters Wedding

My sister Mandie got married in July of this year. She just sent me some pictures of Shea from her wedding. A lot of people probably thought that she was acting like a brat the entire time, but I thought she did really good considering the circumstances. It felt like it was over 100 degrees and there were things planned for the entire day so she didn't get a nap. Here are some pictures from some of her "happy" moments. (P.S. Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween Everyone! We had a wonderful Halloween at grandma and grandpa's house. Wayne also had a great time. I love him so much, he is a just like a little kid. He makes every holiday such a good one. Shea sure does love him! Grandma Zollinger and Aunt Brooke were able to go with us. Shea definetly wasn't affraid of anything. She asked a couple people for more candy, and when they would let her pick her own she would grap two handfulls. After just one house Shea was satisfied! And after 10 houses she was tired. We knew it was time to go home when she just laid down in the grass and wouldn't get up. Luckly we were just across the street from my parents house. Well, I hope everyone had a great Halloween.

Goodbye Summer

Well, now that summer has come and gone. I wanted to share all the fun things we did! We were able to go camping a couple of times, so that Wayne could be a kid again! FYI: Shea loves the outdoors. The other day Wayne took her in the mountains to cut fire wood for the winter. She had a BLAST. They were up there from 9am to about 5pm, and she didn't through a fit once. I couldn't believe it!

We went to Yellowstone Bear World and were able to see some bears. Even though they weren't in the wild, it still counts. Besides, a guy was mald by a bear 6 miles from where I work. I am totally fine with the domesticated ones! Ha Ha.

No matter what we did, the most important thing is that we had FUN!

Spider Cupcakes

Makes 24 cupcakes

1 bag SNICKERS or MILKY WAY,

unwrapped and chopped

1 bag M&M's and M&M's Peanut Butter

1 18 oz box devil's food cake mix

1 16 oz container dark chocolate frosting

1 10.5 oz can chocolate sprinkles

24 large marshmellows

48 red licorice laces

2 12 cup regular-size cupcake pans

24 paper cupcake liners

Resealable plastic bag

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line the cupcake pans with the paper cupcake liners.

2. Prepare the cake mix according to the package instructions.

3. Fold the chopped SNICKERS or MILKY WAY into the batter before filling the cupcake liners.

4. Bake for 18 to 21 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in centers is clean when removed.

Remove from oven and transfer to wire rack to cool completely.

5. Place 2 tablespoons of the chocolate frosting in a redealable plastic bag and snip off a small

corner of the bag. Set aside.

6. Spread the cupcake tops with the remaining frosting. Then cover the tops with the chocolate

sprinkles.

7. Cut the marshmellows in half crosswise. Using the reserved frosting, attach two marshmellow pieces to each cupcake as eyes. Dot the center of each marshmellow piece with frosting, and attach M&M's. Then attach M&M's Peanut Butter for the mouths.

8. Cut each licorice lace into four equal pieces. Using a toothpick, press four holes into two sides of each cupcake. Insert a licorice piece into each hole for spiders' legs, eight pieces per cupcake.

I saw this in a magazine, and tried it. Believe me! IF I can do it, then anyone can. I suggest using MILKY WAY instead of SNICKERS. The peanuts from the SNICKERS taste funny. Well, that is what I thought. Wayne and my co-workers all said they like it. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
