Watch Out Grandpa Z!

My parents rented a cabin up in Island Park over Presidents Day, and on their way back home they dropped off 2 snowmobiles at our place. Today we decided to test them out with Shea. Watch out Grandpa Zollinger, it looks like you have another snowmobiler on your hands! Shea first got on the sled with me and we went around our parking lot. She had a lot of fun doing that! She was saying WEEEEEEE a lot. Then she got on the sled with dad and he decided to go in the field. He of course went a lot faster than me, and I could hear Shea yelling WOO HOO, YEAH! She had a blast! So this message is for Grandpa Zollinger! You should plan a trip up to Teton Valley, so you can experience snowmobiling with Shea. I'm sure she would have a lot of fun, as long as you don't run into a TREE!

Valentine's Day

This year we spent our Valentine's doing our Taxes! I know, I know how exciting. It was a beautiful day though. I tried doing our taxes and it said that I owed $1500 to the Federal and $500 to the state! I was freakin, so we decided to have H&R Block do them for us. We at least got a little bit of a refund. After the taxes we went to dinner at New Fongs. Doesn't that sound like a nice place! ha ha. Shea stuck her finger in that hot mustard stuff. It was pretty funny. I have a feeling she won't do that again. She started licking my face, it was halarious! Well, I hope everyone had an excited Valentines Day.

Hello Everyone! I was tagged by Melanie (well she tagged everyone, and I never do things like this so here I go!) I am suppose to write 6 things that people might not know about me.

1. My little sister Brooke has got me hooked on Miley Cyrus, I like to listen to 80's music, and I can't wait until the New Kids On The Block reunion. There I admit it!

2. I love to boss people around! I have never admited that one either!

3. I don't know how to drive a stick shift car. No one will teach me! My husband says that you can't teach people you love how to drive cars, you end up yelling at each other.

4. I am obbessed with The Real Housewives of Orange County. I don't know why, but I am. (Also, a couple other shows that I am not ready to admit. Ha Ha.)

5. My husband and I love to watch home improvement shows on HGTV, DIY, HOME, and TLC.

6. I talk in my sleep about work. So sad!

A Super Birthday!

Shea is 2 years old! Happy Birthday Sweetie Pie! We had a wonderful day. We were able to come down to Utah for the night, and spend Super Bowl Sunday and Shea's Birthday with grandma and grandpa. (It was the spur of the moment kind of thing.) I am going to be back on Wednesday for a business trip. Last year, Wayne made the birthday cake and it was wonderfull. This year everyone was busy watching the Super Bowl, so I HAD to make the cake. (I am not a cook/baker, as you can tell.)



To bad the Greenbay Packers didn't make it to the Super Bowl. Shea would have been prepared. My dad's "cheese head" was the first thing that Shea saw when we got here! Grandpa was extremely proud!

Yesterday was the first day in 5 days that HWY 33 was open. I had to pull over and take a picture of the snow. It was and still is quite the storm! This picture was taken about 3 miles from our house.

Storm, Storm, Storm

The past couple days have been "crazy" stormy! Yesterday they closed all the roads leading in and out of the Valley in the morning. Luckily, I work and live in the Valley so I was still able to make it back home safely. (Not quickly but safely!) It was Wayne's day off yesterday, so he didn't get stuck over in Jackson. Thank goodness! Today, it is still snowing but not blowing as hard. Two of the Highways opened back up, but the main ones are still closed! Just wanted to let everyone know that we are safe and sound! ha ha. Can't say the same for my boss's though. They live in Bates (in the flats), and the snow drifts have trapped them in their house!! They had to call in the "special snow plow" to get them out, but everyone is fine. Hey, we live in Teton Valley so we should be use to this, right! Ha Ha. My memory card in my camera is full, so I can't take any pictures. But it is a sight to see! (or not to see, whatever.)

Temple Open House

Last Friday my family and I were able to go to the Rexburg Open House. It was so beautiful! We went through the baptismal font area, the dressing rooms, the sealing room, the terrestrial room and last but not least the celestial room. It is always special to go through any temple, but this one was extra special to me. I was able to see the parts my dad made for the temple. They were on all the stair railings, and also around the baptismal font. It was really neat to see how much they added to the beauty of the temple. Shea suprisingly did really well. She made a couple cute comments during the tour. At the beginning we watched a movie and she would point out the water in the waterfalls. Then in the sealing room, she was waving at herself in the mirrors. It was pretty cute. After the temple open house, we all went to dinner at the Hard Hat. It is a local restaraunt in Rexburg. While we were there, a guy was making an ice sculpture our front of the temple. (It was the theme of the day!)
