Easter Sunday

We didn't do much this Easter. We were planning on being in California for Easter, but things didn't work out the way we planned. They were a couple guys short staffed at Wayne's work, so he wasn't able to get the time off. Oh well. I had already scheduled myself off so I didn't have to work for a week, which was nice. The month of March was mostly business trips for me! I will be in Pocatello this weekend, and then they are over until the snow melts. (Which won't be for a while!) Then I get to spend time in the mountains on a 4 wheeler for research! Ha Ha. I am in charge of putting together an ATV Jamboree over Labor Day weekend this year, so we've got to see how they trails are! Ha Ha. Anyway, back to Easter! Mainly we woke up, (Shea and I because Wayne had to work) ate candy, went to church, ate more candy, ate dinner, ate candy and went to bed! I did cook a pretty good dinner, which isn't normal! We had Crunchy Garlic Chicken, potatoes, and corn. Anyway, here is some pictures of Shea and I just before we left for church!

And here is a picture of Shea's bed. On Saturday, we made a trip to Idaho Falls to pick out a new bedspread. I must say, Shea's personality definitely matches her bedspread! (For a 2 year old she has a big an bright one!) She loves it!

St. Patrick's Day

This is a picture of my dog Teby! I took this picture last week while I was down in Utah, and Shea absolutley loves him. So I thought I would share this picture with everyone.


The day started out beautiful. I unfortunatley had to work, but I was able to take this picture at sunrise. The picture doesn't do it justice, it was so beautiful. The only thing that could have been different is the cold, and the snow! I am so over the snow! It reached about 25 degrees! SWEET!

Shea was able to spend all day with Grandma Myers. She absolutley loves her Grandma. It would be great if we were able to see her more! Here is a picture of Shea in her St. Patrick's Day outfit. Of course she is running around everywhere and it's hard to get a cute picture!

Shea had this thing with wet clothes. If the slightest ounze of water (or any type of liquid) gets on her clothes, off they go! Luckily, she wore this outfit for about 30 minutes!

A New Baby!

Congratulations Shalyse and Mike!!! I can't wait to see little Weston Micheal!

Grandma Myers is HERE!

Grandma Myers is here!! Shea is so excited to have her Grandma here from California here for the week. She flew in yesterday, and Shea and I were able to pick her up at the Idaho Falls Airport. After we picked up her luggage, Shea was nice enough to help me carry her luggage to the car. (She grapped onto the luggage ticket, and helped me to the car!) As soon as we got to the car, she quickly ordered Grandma to sit! She was extremely tired and anry for most of the day. (Shea, not Grandma! Ha Ha!) Luckily, she fell asleep on the ride home. As soon as we pulled into the parking lot, Shea woke up and has been playing with Grandma ever since. We are so happy to have Kathy here! WE Love HER!

What a Day!

This is going to be short and sweet. Today Shea had a very tramatic morning. She burnt her finger on the stove!! It was hard for me to take a picture because she wouldn't let anyone look at it. But here is the best one I could get.

Friday!

Shea started the day by picking out her outfit. She just had to put on her ballerina skirt. She absolutley loves to dance and twirl in it. Her next favorite thing is her fairy wings. When she wants them on, she will bring them to you and say "Fly, Fly!" After I put her wings on, I caught her in her bedroom dancing to the Aladin soundtrack. It was pretty cute!

Then around 2pm I decided to re-paint an old dresser of ours. My mom got this dresser from a neighbor about 15 years ago. (Does it look familiar Stacey?) While I was sanding, Wayne feed Shea lunch. As you can see, she was exhausted!

I was outside sanding for about 4 1/2 hours! There were a lot of layers of PAINT on that sucker! But I was able to sand it all down to the wood just before dark. Here is the finished product!

And, of course, the day couldn't end with out another outfit change! (about 3 a day) And of course, The Good Night Show! It's a show on the Sprout Channel and Shea loves it. She loves to watch Noddy, Dragon Tales, Sagwa, and Thomas all before bed. It is so PEACEFUL!
