Shea's new favorite drink.

Yesterday, Shea discovered her new favorite drink. HOT CHOCOLATE with whip cream. This discovery was by mistake. We went to a great Mexican restaurant in Driggs, and had a wonderful polite waitress (that didn't speak very good English). Shea wanted her usual order of Chocolate Milk, so when we saw the mug of Hot Chocolate we thought we were going to have a 2 year old screaming fit on our hands. Luckily, it was with Whip Cream so she was willing to try it! Phew!

And yes, the Tahoe is broken again! So hopefully we will still be able to go to Lagoon next week. It all depends on how much this is going to cost!!! Ahhhh!

Shea

Shea is such a smart, funny girl. Like I mentioned in an earlier post, she has just started using sentences really well. Here are some cute things she has said.



-We were watching Project Runway last week, and that episode the designers had to create an outfit for Drag Queens. At the end of the show, while they were walking down the runway. Shea points to the TV and says, "That's freaking scary!"



-Wayne and I were getting ready to leave and we had asked Shea to get her shoes on. After walking around the house she came up to us and said, "I can't find my shoes. They probably in the car."



-Shea's new favorite song is ROCKSTAR by Hannah Montana. She sings it all the time, "I wanna be a Rockstar." I was shopping online and noticed that Old Navy had their Halloween costumes for sale. I asked Shea what she wanted to be thinking a ladybug or something. Boy was I wrong, she quickly answered "A Rockstar."



-Everytime I tell her no, she points her finger and says "Don't tell me NO mom." Terrible 2's!



-Her new favorite movie is Robots. She walks around the house saying "Robot City, but your just a kid." Also, "MAIL CALL." If you haven't seen that show, you need to. It's a good one.



-I asked her what color her jacket was, and she answered. Then she asks me "What color is your jacket." I answer. She says "Good Job!"

Mesa Falls

What a week this has been. Wayne and Shea have been taking a lot of adventures the past couple day. They went Huckleberry picking two days in a row! And now we have tons to make Huckleberry pancakes and Shakes! Good job guys. They also went up to the mountains and had dinner around a campfire. This they all did while I was working. I have had to spend the night the past week because our Night Audit employee decided to go back to Vegas. Only 1 more week left. I am glad they are at least having fun. It has been pretty quite here at night, but I have had to call the cops on some drunk drivers. They came in to check in and they were wasted. I thought to myself "you guys better stay in the room." But of course they didn't. I watched them fall into their room when they opened their door. Then a couple minutes later, try to get back in the car. That was pretty difficult for them to do apparently. I was shocked when they started the car and drove off. So that was when I called the cops. An hour later or so, they cop came into the office to thank me for calling them. He said that I was a good Samaritan and that they need more people like that in the valley. Especially ones that work at hotels and are paid to keep an eye out around their property. I felt pretty good about doing it, but that night I had Wayne come stay with me because I was scared they were going to get out of jail and find me! I am so paranoid! Just so you know, nothing happened! ha ha.

We also have been watching a lot of the Olympics. Shea's favorite is the Gymnastics. She has been playing that non stop. It is pretty fun to watch her though because it looks like she is break dancing. It is cute because at the end she will raise her hands and say "TaDa, Go team USA"

Yesterday, Wayne and Shea picked me up from work and we went to Mesa Falls. This is located in Ashton, Idaho about 30 minutes from where I work. It has a bigger fall than Niagara Falls, but it isn't as wide. We kept telling Shea we were going to see a waterfall and this is here reaction. This is at the Lower Falls.

Shea also found some pretty cool sticks. She is such a tom boy, because out of no where she started chasing her dad with them. (She is definitely mine and Wayne's daughter!)

We are still here!

It's been a while since I have been able to sit down and post. Work has been extremely busy this month for both Wayne and I. For about 2 weeks start our property has been reserved for private events. First we had a family reunion, then a fundraiser for the hospital, and finally our last event left a couple days ago. We had 21 medical professionals from all over the Untied States come to take a Wilderness Upgrade Course. It was a lot of fun, but at the same time a lot of work. I was designated to be the "picture taker", so I had to follow them into the "Wilderness" and take pictures of them at work! Yippee! Actually it was pretty neat to see. They reinacted a plane crash up in the Big Hole Mountains. Little did I know it was also a cow pasture, and YES I did step in cow poop, and YES I was wearing flip flops!


This week we also lost our night audit girl. She decided to leave her boyfriend and move back to Vegas, spur of the moment thing. So now I GET to do night audit for 11 night in the next 2 weeks. We will see how that goes with Shea! ha ha. Not looking forward to it at all. It has just been work work work, so I have nothing more excited to say. Shea is doing really well, and is all of a sudden talking in sentences. It seems like it happened over night. She is a riot as always, and we love her to death.

Weekend

The past couple weeks have been extremely hectic for me. My little brother Chad and sister Brooke come up from Utah to help me chill out! I am so glad they did, I love them so much. We went up to Targhee and took the chair lift up to the top and had a great view of the tetons. Shea absolutely loved it. She is fearless!

They were also able to bring my dog Teby up with them. Shea loves him just as much as I do and probably more. The love of dogs she definitely gets from me. Before she got on the 4 wheeler she had to tell Teby she loved him through her window. "So Cute" she would say.

After Chad and Brooke left. Wayne and I decided to go up to the mountains and have tin foil dinners. They could of been better. Maybe next time!

What a little helper.

Oh, we also got our car back yesterday night. Finally! It was $36 over our budget so I am calling it good! ha ha. I banged up the transmission pan, broke a valve and a fuse in the transmission. But we are all good now!

Once again....

Once again we have car problems. This time it is with my car, and is totally my fault! The other day at work, a lady come in crying saying that she had just locked herself out of her trailer. (We have an RV Park) Her husband works at a construction site in Driggs which is about 7 miles away. She asked if I would drive her to her husbands work to pick up the spare key. "HECK NO, THAT'S NOT MY JOB" was what I was thinking, but do you think I told her that. NO. Of course, I'll take you. So she got on the phone with her husband to get directions. He told her that the office is a trailer. And away we went. When we got there, it was all rocks and dirt. And I had to drive from trailer to trailer to find the right one. Well, I totally bottomed out. We finally found the place, and it was not a trailer but an actual building! MEN. I ruined my transmission. We took it to a place here in town, but they were unable to fix it. So they will be taking it to Idaho Falls on Monday. Cross your fingers that we won't have to replace the whole thing. So once again we are stuck with only one car. OYE!

First weeks of July

This is another picture of my very talented daughter. Just look at how she has stacked the blocks behind her. What a smarty pants.

Wayne has been taking 4 wheeler rides up in the hills behind our apartment. Here are just a few of the pictures that he took. On this particular ride, he flipped the 4 wheeler and was pinned underneath it. He definitely knows better not to go alone anymore. Luckily, he and the 4 wheeler walked away with a few scratches.

My little sister Brooke came up from Utah this past weekend to run another Marathon, this time in Driggs. She did really good, and even beat her time from the last marathon she ran in Rexburg. Shea ran a little ways with her, but then was distracted by the swings!

This video was taken just yesterday. Out of no where, the skies darkened and a crazy hale storm came. It was crazy to watch. I was just hoping it wasn't going to dent my car. Good news, it didn't. But I can't say the same to the apartment building. The siding is totally cracked on one side. The Super 8 in Driggs had a lot of damage as well. Kit, a lady I work with, her truck has quite a few dings! Crazy stuff that weather.
