We're thinking....

Yesterday was an exciting day for our little family. I had a doctors appointment and we were able to find out the sex of the baby. The baby wasn't really cooperating and the doctor had to work at it for quite a while. The babies legs were clinched shut!! ha ha. After about 15 minutes of strictly trying to find the sex the doctor said "Oh, that KINDA looks like. MMMM. I'm going to guess a girl, but buy a yellow outfit just in case!" It was pretty funny, and we love our doctor. So it looks like we are thinking pink plus a yellow tint! We are excited. I'm not worried at all about having another girl. I'm actually really relieved because I know how to handle them. ha ha. Well, at least what to expect. The rest of this week has been pretty hectic for us. We have been working extra hard getting one of the other apartments put back together. Wayne is the maintenance man and the previous tenants totally destroyed the place. I mean, if you are renting wouldn't you tell someone if mold starting appearing??? I sure would! We had to take it down to the studs. Then a couple days ago our landlords called and said that they rented it out and they want to move in on Sunday. So it has been none stop for us over there. But Wayne just called and he has finished!! Paint is on and drying! I am glad that is over with. Now we can just relax!

Easter Sunday

We had a great Easter. Here are some pictures of Shea all dressed up for church.

We had to take Wayne to work early in the morning. She has been in a coloring mode for a while and the Easter bunny brought her some crayons! That was the first thing she wanted to do.

Not quite sure what is going on because it was so EARLY! ha ha.

Finally!

It's been a while since I was last able to post. Work has been slow but busy. Slow in the sense that we are still experiencing winter in full force, which means the owners are getting snowed out of their house. When that happens they come and stay at the lodge, which means they work the entire shift since they are here. Makes sense. When I do get to work, I have tons to do since I am never here. Ha. But I am hoping and thinking that we have had our last big storm. I am so over winter! The Hotel where Wayne works just shut down for 3 weeks for the off season. Luckily, Wayne has seniority and gets to work full time through it. We are really lucky that way. Only 3 engineers get to work full time and the others only work 1 or 2 times or have to take the entire 3 weeks off. Not fun! If anyone wants to know or cares, I am feeling great. I am almost 16 weeks along. We find out the sex on May 4th. And that is about it! ha ha. Shea still can't wait to be a big sister. She tells everyone! She also is telling everyone that mommy has a baby in her tummy and that she has a puppy in her tummy! Crazy girl! Waynes family came down from California for a week. It was really fun to see them. We didn't do much considering they are from California and it is still winter here in Idaho! Ha Ha. They were able to go outside and build a snowman and have a snowball fight with Grandpa for about 30 minutes! The rest of the time we mainly stayed inside! Poor Kids! Imagine, 6 adults and 4 kids STUCK in a 2 bedroom apartment ALL DAY! It probably wasn't the best vacation for them, but we were very happy that they were able to come down! We love you guys, and hope to see you soon! (This time we will come down there!) Well, this is the reason I haven't tried to post anything! My life isn't to exciting! ha ha.

Precious Moment

This morning when Shea woke up the first thing she wanted to do was listen to my heart beat. (She has been doing this since she first heard the baby's heart beat.) She listened for about 5 seconds, then got up and said "Mom, your heart sounds like music. It's singing a lullaby to the baby." It was so cute and precious. She will be a great sister.

Friday the 13th

So I hope everyone survived Friday the 13th without any scary accidents! Our 13th was actually a great one. We had our first doctors appointment. Yes, I am finally pregnant! It has been a long time coming and we were both ready to give up. We have been trying to have another baby for almost 2 years. Now that I think back, I was definitely not ready to have 2 kids running around. So it worked out for the best. My due date is September 26th, and I must say it couldn't be more perfect. Just before winter! Don't have to worry about driving the pass in snow when I go into labor. Always a plus! I am feeling absolutely great. No morning sickness at all. I would knock on some wood if there were any around! Shea is really excited to be a big sister. We heard the heart beat for the first time today. Shea made the doctor replay it 3 times. She thought it was amazing. She says that it sounds like a race track with horses. She made a lot of people laugh while we were there, telling everyone about the horses in moms tummy and showing the pictures of the baby. She wouldn't let go of the pictures until we got into the car, and looks at them every 10 minutes on our fridge. I pretty sure she is ready to be a big sister! ha ha. Well, I hope so for my sake!

Happy Birthday Shea!

We celebrated Shea's 3rd Birthday on Tuesday. It started out with just the 3 of us, because none of our family members could make it up from Cali and Utah. So we were going to make the best of it anyway. She wanted to have a Blue's Clue cake, luckily I found this easy one on the Internet.

She also wanted to go swimming. So the Saturday before we went to a Hot Spring swimming pool. Being winter and all, they were only open on Saturday. Oh well, it worked out perfectly. She had a blast. Sorry no pictures of that.

The past couple weeks she has been watching a lot of cartoon that had magnifying glasses in them. So that is what she wanted.

And surprise! Aunt Brooke and Uncle Ryan came up that night to surprise us! They also gave Shea a wad of cash! She was so excited to buy candy with it. KIDS!

Snowmobiling

My dad and sister came up this Thursday because they had to drop off a computer for my work. Well, that is the excuse because my dad ended up bringing his sleds. Any chance he gets he will be snowmobiling! It's too bad the weather didn't cooperate with us. It was a windy day, which equals snow drifts which equals not fun! Here is Shea with Aunt Brooke before we left snowmobiling.

I was pretty nervous taking Shea up to the mountains because this was the first Real Snowmobiling trip she has been on. I didn't think it was going to be much fun. But she surprised me. She had a blast, and was ready to go!

The drifts were so bad, that they blocked all the roads. Shea was riding with Grandpa, and he didn't want to take any chances with her. Here are the boys making a path through the snow drift! Good work!

Shea felt so comfortable that she fell asleep. This is something my dad is use to because my brother Chad use to fall asleep all the time when he was little.

And she was DEAD ASLEEP!

My dad's friend Steve came up for the ride, and Shea and him got along great.

Shea had a great time snowmobiling. And to top it off. Later that night, while she was suppose to be sleeping, I went into her room because I heard a noise. To my surprise Shea was wearing her snow pants in bed! It was hard not to laugh, she fits right in with the Zollinger Family! ha ha. (Side note: The next 2 days were beautiful and sunny! That's how it goes, I guess!)
