2 months old!

I can't believe that my little Rylee is already 2 months old. We had her check up on Monday and she is almost 11 lbs. and 22 inches long. I can't believe how fast time flies by and the fact that she still has hair. My child has hair! Shocking.

On the Zollinger side of the family, all of the brothers scrunch up there mouth randomly just as naturally as breathing. My dad especially. Rylee seems to be giving it a try.

My sister Brooke came up a couple weeks ago to visit and see our house. Rylee seems to love Aunt Brooke just as much as Shea does.

Teby is definitely been taken over by Shea. He is her dog now. They are constantly running around having fun. But Shea always has time to help mom with diapers or Binky duty. She is such a big help and such a GREAT BIG SISTER!

Here is the next small project that Wayne has done to the house. He put some wood in the window seals. (Just in the living room. I said it was a small job.) Something so simple changed the feel of the room. I wish they were all that simple.

We're Back!

I am back to work which means back to the Internet! It has been way too long. I love looking at every one's blogs so that I know how everyone is. I makes me feel like I am involved in all of your lives! ha ha. A lot has happened the past couple weeks. Rylee is 7 weeks old and still has hair! She is growing like a weed, put still is the tinest little thing. Shea is having a ball, and loves being a big sister. We recently bought a house and have been slowly moving in. (The cheapest house in the valley! ha ha.) We closed on October 30th, the day before Halloween. It went very fast, and I am still a little shocked that we have a house. Wayne literally did everything in the process! My parents came up from Utah last weekend to help us move. They also finally brought us my dog Teby. My sister and I always knew that secretly my dad loved him. He finally admitted it! He has already called us to see how the dog is doing, and it hasn't even been a week. Well, dad, Teby it doing great. He loves being out of the city. And he already has a friend, Rocky. The dog is doing great! ha ha.

The house is almost put together. Our first project was painting the kitchen cabinets white. I didn't take a before picture, but the cabinets were nasty. They reminded me of cabinets you would find in a RV. Old and Cheap. I think it looks a lot better. Next thing is to paint the walls so that EVERYTHING isn't white! The house is on an acre so we have a great view of the Tetons and the Bighole's.

Halloween this year was a little different. Instead of driving over to Jackson, we decided to suck it up and go trunk'r'treating. That is what they do out here in the country. Everyone parks in the church parking lot and hands out candy from the trunk of their car. I always thought that sounded stupid, boy was I wrong. This weather was crappy, and it was cold. It took us 30 minutes to go to everyone of the cars and it was over. You get a lot of candy in a short amount of time, which is nice when it's snowing. These two little puppies really enjoyed themselves!

7 lbs. 20 inches

This is a crappy post because I am not able to post any pictures of our cute little one. I am at the library and they don't allow any downloading. I am really annoyed!

We went in on Sunday the 20th to get prepared for the inducing on Monday. They were going to start the potocin on Monday morning at 6am. That didn't happen. My water broke at 1am and little Rylee was born at 3:20am. I was able to get an epidural at around 2am, which was right before I felt the erge to push. I just made it! YEAH!

She is such a good little baby, and Shea is such a big help. She tells everyone about her adorable little sister. Rylee has jaundice of the breast milk, but it has stabilized and is starting to go away.

This week has been a extra hectic week for us. On Friday the 11th I was put on bed rest because of high blood pressure. The doctor said that it wasn't that high, they just didn't want it to get any higher. I had to stay on moderate bed rest until my next doctors appointment which was that following Friday. I was able to get up and do "light housework". Yeah, right! With a 3 year old I was constantly up. Not to mention, I was put on bed rest the day that my boss left on vacation for 3 days which happened to be over Labor Day weekend! I worked Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and had Wednesday and Thursday to truly be on bed rest! Work didn't wear me out much. I worked the evening shift and mainly took it easy the whole night. We don't have any family members that live close by, but my mom and dad were able to come up Saturday night to watch Shea while I was at work. That helped out a lot. Thanks mom and dad! (Secretly, I think my dad just wanted to come up to look at houses. He really wants to move! ha ha.) Last week was also the week that Shea started soccer. Wednesday was her first soccer practice and she had a blast. She hates wearing the shin guards, but once she saw all the other kids wearing them she was totally fine.

Yesterday, I had another doctors appointment and my blood pressure was fine again! I confessed that I did really do the whole bed rest thing. Which I must say is impossible when you have a 3 year old and on top of that are in the nesting stage of your pregnancy. I had to do everything. Thursday, I did pretty good though. I only cleaned and vacuumed out my car. Anyway, I am still on bed rest just because! AHHH! If I don't have this baby this week, then I will be induced on Monday the 21st. I'm thinking I will go into labor on Sunday the 20th! Just a feeling! ha ha. We are really excited and my list of 80 things to do before baby #2 is almost complete. We just have to work on our Tahoe and get it ready for the winter. Why, I don't know, just because I need to have it done right KNOW! ha ha. Today was Shea's first soccer game. It wasn't really a game because they still didn't have the teams put together and the uniforms like they were suppose to! But it was fun to watch anyway!

Shea did really good the first half of the game. Then she just got really hot and tired. She came running to us and said "Mom, Dad I'm tired. Can I go to bed?" It was so cute, and really hard to say no too. That never happens. We told her that after her game she can go to sleep. Once half time was over, played for a little longer. Ran over to her coach and told him she was tired. He said "Okay, just relax and take a break." So she did. With out hesitating she flopped right on the ground and just laid there. You could just hear him laughing.

Even though this week was so hectic and hot and crazy! We had a great one. Oh, yeah! Other good news, our Landlord called and said that she is going to allow dogs now! Yeah, so we finally get to have my dog Teby come and stay with us. Shea and I are very excited!

Our Doctor Day

Saturday was our Doctor Day. We started out the morning with Shea's first Dentist appointment. Shea had been looking forward to this day for the past week. She is getting to be such a Big Girl, and it has flown by like that! At first, she didn't want any pictures.

After the Dentist we had to spend 2 hours over in Jackson before my doctors appointment started. We went to he park, and Wayne and Shea went down the Alpine Slide at Snow King.

At my doctor appointment, we had to wait in the HOT waiting room for 30 minutes. The doctor felt so bad that she decided to give us a free ultrasound. (Because we still weren't for sure what the sex was. ) Well, we know now! It for sure a GIRL. We are very excited that we finally know and can go out and SHOP til we DROP! Well, at least Shea and I will! Here is a very sad picture of me with only 5 more weeks left! YEAH!

After my appointment, it was right back over the pass to Wayne's appointment in Idaho. After 40 minutes there, we were finally done for the day. We had a fun filled day at the doctors. Shea came back with presents, I came back with a picture of the baby, and Wayne came back with a sticker and a lollipop! MEN!

Update

This past month has been really busy for the 3 of us. After the 4th of July, Shea went down to Grandma Zollinger's house for 2 whole weeks. She had so much fun, and came back to us a spoiled little BRAT! ha ha. I am glad to say she is back to normal! ha ha. We also went camping up to Hebgen Lake in Montana for a couple days with my family. We had a lot of fun, but it wasn't long enough. It never is! Wayne's mom is having some health issues and Wayne was able to fly to San Francisco for a week to be with her in the hospital. He is having a hard time, but we are getting through it. She has recently returned to the hospital with an infection from her feeding tube and some leakage in her throat. We are hoping for the best and love her so much! Yesterday, I had another doctors appointment. Two shocking things: 1. I only gained 1 lb. in 2 weeks, and 2. Surprise Ultrasound!! Were we finally going to get closure about the sex of our child?? I am starting to measure big again, so the doctor just wanted to make sure the baby wasn't getting too big. She also said we would make sure it was still a "girl." EXCITING! After she made all the measurements, she went back to check the sex. We saw the little bum cheeks and a foot, right in the way of you know what! This baby is extremely stubborn and wouldn't move that little foot! So I guess, we aren't really suppose to know the sex. Oh well, as long as she is a healthy baby. Everything measured great, and we are doing wonderful. Only 7 more weeks until Shea is a big sister. She can not wait!! (Sorry, no pictures. I have gotten really lazy with the camera.)
