Catch up time!

It has been a long time since I last posted anything, so there are a lot of pictures! As the previous post mentioned, Waynes mom past away in March. We were able to make it down to California just in time. Thanks to Grandpa Myers for letting us crash at his house. Considering the circumstances we had a great trip. The cousins ran wild with each other the entire time. Here is Matthew and Rylee just chillin at Grandpas!

Also, while we were there Waynes Aunts threw a Easter Egg hunt for all the kids. It was so much fun. He really does have the best Aunts ever!

When we got back home it was back to reality. Which means work, work, and work. Here is Shea and Rylee at WORK. Rylee really does love her big sister!

For Easter, my mom and dad and my little sister Brooke came up from Utah.

We sure do love it when they are able to visit!

Shea had two Easter dresses this year. Here is one of them. I will also share that Shea loves Primary. She loves dressing up for church and was very excited to have 2 pretty dresses.

Rylee and her Easter dress. Rylee is 7 months old today. She is growing like a weed and is showing signs of crawling. She actually army crawls everywhere, but is trying to figure out the hand leg thing working together. ha ha. She is pretty cute! If I drop something on the floor and can't find it. All I need to do is put Rylee on the floor and she will find it in no time!

I looked out the window and noticed that Shea's big red ball was blowing away. So I quickly told her to run outside and put the ball away. When I looked out the window, this is what I saw!

Wayne has been super excited to start working in the yard. Since most of the snow has melted he has been hard at work outside. He even made a rake for our 4 wheeler at work. (We are too poor to buy a real pull along! ha ha.) I wish I would have taken a before picture, because it really looks a lot better than it did.

Teby likes to run with the 4 wheeler and he really gets warn out! PS - Mack gets tied in the front yard because he likes to run through the entire neighborhood looking for dogs to play with.

The only new thing with me is that I now have a calling in our ward. I was called as the Miamaids Advisor. I am super excited to be in Young Womens and so far am loving it. I taught my first lesson last Sunday and survived! ha ha.

We will miss you!

Our family was hit with the death of Wayne's mom Kathy on March 7th. She was a wonderful person, and I am so lucky to have met her. I am grateful for the wonderful man that she raised, and over this past week it is clear that it wasn't easy! She did a great job. She was the best GRANDMA in the whole wide world. She loved all her grandchildren very much. She had been struggling with her health for a long time, and not once did I hear her complain. She was also able to come up to Idaho and meet Rylee for the first time. We are so lucky to have had her with us for that week. We love you Kathy, and we will miss you!

Things have been pretty hectic for our little family this month, but we have found time to have some fun! Shea was eating and Rylee thought she would help!

For my birthday, my mom gave me her 80's bread mixer. Here is my first attempt. They came out deformed, but still were nummy!

Last Saturday, we decided to go sledding. PS, we will never take the dog again. I had to chase him through the woods when we were ready to leave!

Valentines Day

This Valentines Day all of us had work off. Wayne has been taking 1 Sunday a month off so that he can go to church. That Sunday just so happened to be Valentines Day. That was a nice little gift to have him home and help me get the kids ready for church. Here is our little Rylee being her usual self.

Grandma Kathy gave Shea a Valentines dress. We also found sparkle shoes that were super duper on sale. Her is Shea just before we left for church.

Since money is tight, Wayne gave us a great Valentines present. He got up early and made us all breakfast. He even cut out the pancakes into hearts. Shea that is was the best!

Our little girls are growing up so fast. (And puppy) Mack, our golden retriever puppy, had his head placed on Rylee tummy and Rylee was playing with his ear. It was so cute, but by the time I got my camera he only had his paw on her. Don't worry, he is really gentle our her!

Rylee also has started baby food. She doesn't seem to mind the vegetable foods, which is strange to me. With Shea, I had to feed her only fruit! ha ha. If you can believe it, Shea actually took this picture. She is pretty darn good.

Shea is growing like a weed also. She had her second dentist appointment, and also had her 4 year doctor check up. Last year, the doctor had her do some things around the room like hop on one foot, walk in a straight line, tip toe, and walk on your heals. She remember all of it! The doctor didn't tell here to do any off it and she did it. She was so impressed on how good her memory is. (Which makes me a little nervous! ha ha)

She loves to sing, dance and color. She loves going to church and primary. I can't believe I have a 4 year old. Crazy.

Shea is 4 years old!

On February 3rd, our little Shea turned the big number 4! She was looking forward to her birthday for weeks, and when it finally came she was so excited. Through out the day she would yell "I'm so excited it's my birthday!" She made sure to tell everyone! She is in love with the Nightmare Before Christmas, so she insisted on that theme for her party. It was just us because I was worried about how the other mothers would feel about a Nightmare Before Christmas party! Turns out she isn't the only 4 year old who loves that movie. Oh well. I love how easily it is to please a child!

Here is the best I could do making a Jack cake. I put pudding and strawberries in the middle and when I frosted it, the pudding came out the sides. Another example of how easily children are to please because Shea loved it!

Rylee is growing up so fast. She is 4 1/2 months old and is so sweet. She is constantly smiling and loves to watch her big sister.

She is also rolling over - from her tummy to her back and her back to her tummy!
