Our little getaway!

The girls and I went to Vegas with my mom, sister and little brother. We all needed a little getaway for the weekend. We were up all night trying to think of were to go with kids, and nothing was fun. So we decided VEGAS. Guess who drove most of the way. Nope, not mom, ME!!! Not sure how I got stuck with that job.

We finally got there, and we went for a little walk around the hotel.

Nascar Cafe

I was really nervous about the girls being in Vegas, but Circus Circus was right next door. Great place for kids to hang out, (and Ryan). We just made sure we were in the hotel room before the sun went down. Shea was the first one to hit the jackpot with this game. Ryan hit is about 5 times after that!! We had a lot of tickets.

Shea also won playing tic tac toe. She had to throw softballs and try to get tic tac toe. She was so proud of herself after that. She was a monkey.

We also went to the Shark Reef. (FYI: very expensive for not a lot.) But Shea liked it.

We all had a fun trip. When we got home grandma, grandpa, and Rylee all were sick. Not fun. Thanks family for letting us tag along. Nothing new has been going on with us. I still have 2 very silly kids. Rylee just loves wearing these glasses.

Our new family member!

Well, we have started work on creating the berm around the yard. We spent all day outside and we have so much more to do. I don't think we want to do this anymore, but we are already committed! ha ha.

We welcomed a new member into our family about a month ago. Wayne got a little kitten named Ross. He got him from a family in our ward. I must say he is really cute, but I won't say that when he gets older. I really don't like cats, but he will be nice to have around to catch the mice. Mack and Ross really like each other, and everyday the snuggle up to sleep.

Happy Birthday Rylee

On Tuesday, our little Rylee turned 1 years old. I can't believe how time flies! It seems just yesterday we brought her home from the hospital. Everyday, she is looking more and more like Wayne and I. Which is really scary.

A week of new beginnings!

The past couple weeks has been very hectic for our little family. Thursday, Shea started preschool for the first time! She was so excited and not nervous at all. A lady in our ward decided to start a preschool this year, and we quickly signed Shea up. She loves Mrs. Tara so much. She is my visiting teacher, she was Shea's primary teacher, and it's her friends mom! Ha Ha. Poor Tara can't get a break from us! She is a great lady, and we are so excited to have Shea in her class!

I'm not usually a picture freak, but I sure was this morning!

This weekend was also my little brother Chad's farewell. He is going to Mexico for his mission, so we were in Utah for the weekend. We discovered that Rylee loves to stick her tongue out. Which is really strange because I used to do the same thing when I was her age.

The family also went to Chuck E Cheese for lunch on Monday. (Excluding Chad and Ryan)

Some other excited news! Wayne and I were sealed on Friday the 20th of August. We are so happy that we were able to have the great blessings of the temple, and that we are now a FAMILY FOR EVER!! Shea did an excellent job in the temple. She was polite and reverent. Rylee on the other hand, not so much! ha ha.

After, we all went to Applebee's in Rexburg for lunch. Thank you to everyone who came to Idaho for us. We are really happy that you were able to share this special time with us.

Typical Shea! She is such a goof ball, and is always on the run. She helps just as much as she gets in trouble. Here exciting news this month is that she is starting preschool in a couple weeks. We are both really excited for this next adventure. I'm just glad that we found a great preschool teacher that works from here home and not a daycare! Yeah for Mrs. Tara. (Who is also here Primary teacher, and my visiting teacher. Poor Lady! ha ha.)

Little Ms. Rylee is all smiles. We couldn't have asked for a better baby girl. That may be because she hasn't started walking yet. Thank goodness! She is growing fast and will turn 1 in September. Here are the many smiles of Rylee.

Unlce Chad and Aunt Brooke came up to visit for the weekend. We were very excited to see Uncle Chad because he will be leaving on his mission to Mexico in less than a month. We love Chady very much and he is going to be a great missionary.
